With the Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show less than a month away, automakers are working away on heavily-customized vehicles to reveal at the show. Ford teased a few of its modified F-150 trucks that will be on display at Las Vegas in November.
The trucks include: an off-roading oriented F-150 SuperCrew by Bojix Design, a flashy F-150 SuperCab sporting a custom gold paint job by A.R.E. Accessories, a BMX-themed F-150 Lariat SuperCrew, and, our favorite, the EraThr3 F-150 SuperCrew by Hulst Customs.
The custom F-150 by Hulst Customs captured our attention because of its powertrain. The truck features a 5.0-liter V8 engine with a Whipple supercharger, CGS performance exhaust, and unique exhaust tips. The result is a full 750 horsepower. For those keeping track, that's more power than a Ford Mustang with Roush's Stage 3 Kit, which uses a 2.3-liter supercharger to boost power to 670 horses.
